Menlo-Atherton Little League
Player Development Program
2010

The Menlo-Atherton Little League is committed to teaching and improving the fundamental baseball skills of our children in a fun and constructive environment. To accomplish this, the league has put together a comprehensive “Player/Coach Development Program.” Instruction will be provided by baseball professionals from the best local youth baseball development organizations and will follow the league’s overall baseball curriculum.

The 2010 spring season’s program will encompass all players from the T-Ball, A, AA, AAA and Majors divisions.

The T-Ball Player Development program will be conducted by the Menlo-Atherton High School Baseball coaching staff. Each T-Ball team will participate in three private clinic sessions as part of their practice schedule. Children will be taught basic throwing, catching, hitting and running fundamentals as defined by the overall league baseball curriculum.

The A and AA Player Development programs will be comprised of division wide defense and base running clinics conducted by Starting Line-Up, as well as two private team hitting clinics conducted by Hardtke World of Baseball. Clinics will be woven into team practice schedules. Instruction by both development partners will be consistent with the overall league baseball curriculum.

The AAA and Majors Player Development programs will be comprised of division wide defense and base running, catching and pitching clinics conducted by Starting Line-Up; as well as private team hitting clinics conducted by Hardtke World of Baseball. Clinics will be woven into team practice schedules. Instruction by both development partners will be consistent with the overall league baseball curriculum.

The cost of the 2010 Player Development program clinics for each player is included in the 2010 player registration fee.
