Playoffs

Sunday, June 5:   Left Bank 6 - Mikes Cafe 5

In a well played game by both sides, Left Bank held on to beat Mikes Cafe in the winners bracket finals Sunday afternoon. JP Gray and Clay Prosser threw well for Mikes and they got big hits from Jordan Salabert, Cole Hagerman, Rio Zelaya and a home run by Max Comolli. Left Bank got good pitching from David Farnham and Connor Nathan. On offense, Andrew McLean had two big hits, and Left bank got other big hits from Mason Kim and Joseph Hoy.

Sunday, June 5:   Goetz Bros 6 - Old Pro 1

Behind the pitching of Kris Liang and Kailen Kerschner, Goetz Brothers took down a formidable Old Pro team. Goetz bats were strong in the game with Ben Aguiar's double and Kailen Kerschner's RBI 2B and 3B. Jack Retterer came into the game for Old Pro to shut the door on Goetz (3 no hit, no run innings), but the damage had already been done. Good hitting performances for Old Pro came from Michael Landolfi and Jack Retterer.

Thursday, June 2:   Mikes Cafe 3 - Shell 0

Mike's pitching was strong again with a shut out of Shell Thursday night. JP Gray, Jack Fitz and Clay Prosser combined for a 3 hitter for Mikes. Mike's hitting was led by Clay Prosser and was spread out over the 6 innings to win 3-0.

Wednesday, June 1:   Left Bank 9 - Old Pro 3

For Old Pro, JC Marco homered and Jack Retterer had a big hit. For Left Bank, David Farnham hit two home runs. Connor Mead and Will Mummery pitched well for Old Pro, while Connor Nathan and Bret Rodrigues each threw three strong innings for Left Bank.

Tuesday, May 31:   Mikes Cafe 4 - Goetz 0

The finale Tuesday was a pitching duel between Mikes Café and Goetz. Kailen Kershner and Kris Liang both pitched great for Goetz while JP Gray, Jack FitzSimons and Clay Prosser did the same for Mikes Café. Cole Hagerman led off the game with a home run for Mikes Café.

Tuesday, May 31:   Old Pro 7 - Draegers 6

Old Pro and Draegers had a back and forth battle to start off the playoffs Tuesday night. Old Pro jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead on a JC Marco home run. Draegers battled back with big hits from Patrick Duane and Evan King. Old Pro scored a run in the 6th to get the win.

Thursday, May 24:   Draegers 2 - Goetz 0

Patrick Duane (Draegers) and Kailen Kershner (Goetz) treated the fans to an old fashioned pitcher's duel with both players pitching into the 6th inning. Draegers’ offense was led with key hits by Josh Bogomilsky (2/2), Patrick Duane (sac. fly), Stefan Sakamoto and Zack Hurwitz. Goetz outfielders Griffin Voss and James Kirkham made key plays in the field to hold Draegers to only two runs.

Wednesday, May 23:   Shell 7 - Left Bank 5

Shell prevailed over Left Bank, 7-5, in the final regular season game for both teams. Connor Nathan went 3-3, with a double, and Brett Rodrigues also doubled for Left Bank. Angelo Athens threw three strong innings and doubled for Shell. Luca Espinosa, Tom Stanbach and Zach Weseloh each had a pair of RBIs. Call-ups Anthony Marini and Devin Dohrmann both had a hit for Shell in their Majors debuts.

Wednesday, May 23:   Shell 4 - Draegers 2

In a continuation of a game suspended by darkness earlier in the season, Shell defeated Draegers 4-2 in nine innings. The difference was a two-run HR by Blake Henry in the top of the ninth. Josh Olson's pitching, and a tight Shell defense, preserved the victory.

Tuesday, May 22:   Mikes Cafe 22 - Old Pro 9

Mikes won with great pitching from JP Gray, Cole Hagerman, AJ Berquist, and Max Comolli. Mike's bats came alive for 22 runs, lead by Clay Prosser almost hitting for the cycle.

Week 9

Saturday, May 21:   Left Bank 12 - Mikes Cafe 10

Left Bank got out to big leads twice against Mikes Café on Saturday, in a game that featured multiple pitchers for both teams. Mikes battled back to score 3 runs in each of the 5th and 6th innings, to make it close. Mikes Café got big hits from Rio Zelaya , Clay Prosser, Jack Moultrup and Reese Lindquist. For Left Bank, Bret Rodrigues homered in his second consecutive game and also provided a double. Other big hitters for Left Bank were Connor Nathan (3 hits), Mason Kim, Andrew McLean and Trevor Brinton (all with 2 hits each).

Saturday, May 21:   Shell 9 - Goetz 5

Eleven different pitchers appeared for the two teams, including Grant Henry who made his Majors debut for Shell. Kailen kershner had two hits and Brett Kessler went 3-for-3 for Goetz. Angelo Athens had a two-run homer for Shell.

Thursday, May 19:   Left Bank 7 - Goetz 2

In an exciting game that went seven innings, Kailen Kershner pitched 5 outstanding innings for Goetz, giving up only one run. Goetz had big hits from Ben Aguiar who just missed a home run with a blast to left, and Kailen Kershner and Brett Kessler who both doubled. Left Bank used five pitchers (Mason Kim, Ben Wagner, Joseph Hoy, Gavin Lombardi and Bret Rodrigues) who all threw well. Christian Wagner made his Majors catching debut and did a fantastic job behind the plate for two innings. Ben Wagner provided a big double for Left Bank, and Bret Rodrigues and Andrew McLean both homered in the seventh inning.

Wednesday, May 18:   Shell 7 - Mikes Cafe 5

Shell outlasted Mike's Cafe to win a hard fought contest 7-5 in seven innings. The game started out as a pitchers duel -- Clay Prosser (Mike's) struck out 10 while surrendering only one hit, a two run HR to Angelo Athens. On the mound for Shell, Angelo Athens fanned nine and held Mike's hitless over four innings of work. Late in the game, the bats came alive -- Jack Fitzsimmons, Jimmy Wright and Dan Klug each doubled for Mike's. Mike Liebsch had a two bagger and Ryu Frank added two hits for Shell, including what proved to be the game winner.

Week 8

Sunday, May 15:   Left Bank 3 - Draegers 2

Andrew McLean got the start for Left Bank and threw three strong innings. Connor Nathan threw four final shutout innings in relief. It was also a big day for Andrew Mclean at the plate as he went 3-3, and scored the winning run. Mason Kim also provided a big double for Left Bank . Patrick Duane got the start for Draegers and threw six strong innings.

Sunday, May 15:   Shell 8 - Goetz 2

Shell defeated Goetz in a rain delayed contest, 8-2. Luca Espinosa scatted three hits over four innings of pitching and hit an inside-the-park Grand Slam to lead Shell. Brad Yaffe went 2-for-2, including a double, for Goetz. Theo Novak threw two strong innings of relief for his first save for Shell.

Saturday, May 14:   Left Bank 4 - Shell 3

Holding onto a tight, 2-0 lead (thanks to a 2-run homer by Andrew McLean) going into the 5th, Left Bank got insurance RBI's from Trevor Brinton and David Farnham (solo home run) and needed them all. Shell mounted a comeback in the bottom of the 6th, capped by Angelo Athens' 3-run homer to deep left, but Brett Rodrigues was able to come in for Left Bank and get the last 3 outs to seal the win.

Saturday, May 14:   Mikes Cafe 6 - Goetz 4

Mike's and Goetz where tied 4-4 going into the 6th with great pitching by Rio Zelaya (Mikes) and Kris Liang (Goetz). Kris threw all 6 innings (72 pitches). Mike's Cafe scored two runs in the top of 6 on a double by Jack Fitzsimmons and Clay Prosser came in to close out the game with a flawless inning for Mikes.

Saturday, May 14:   Draegers 12 - Old Pro 2

6 Draegers pitchers combined for a 12-2 team win. Big hits for Draegers were supplied by Peter Larsen, Suraj Dhawan, Stefan Sakamoto, and Nick Tripaldi. JC Marco hit a towering home run to drive in Old Pro's 2 runs.

Friday, May 13:   Mikes Cafe 8 - Goetz 4

Mike's Cafe and Goetz battled for 5 innings but a grand slam by Cole Hagerman and a monster home run by Clay Prosser led Mikes to an 8-4 win.

Wednesday, May 11:   Left Bank 15 - Draegers 7

Connor Nathan threw 4 innings of shutout ball for Left Bank, then Joseph Hoy and Gavin Lombardi each threw well in relief. Trevor Brinton (3 hits) and Christian Wagner (2 hits) led the way offensively. Patrick Duane and Davos Paquin each had two hits for Draegers.

Tuesday, May 10:   Old Pro 11 - Goetz 9

Tuesday night's contest was a hard fought game with good hitting and solid defense. Kris Liang started off pitching well for Goetz but left the game after beign hit by a pitch. Old Pro end up victorious 11-9 in 5 innings. James Kirkham had two hits and Ben Aguiar went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs for Goetz. Nick Cronin closed the game out for Old Pro.

Monday, May 9:   Mikes Cafe 8 - Draegers 4

Monday's game featured a great pitching battle between Evan King and Rio Zelaya. Draegers tied it up in the bottom of the 5th 4-4, but Mike's came right back to score four times lead by a double by Cole Hagerman. Clay Prosser throw two and a half flawless innings to close out the win.

Week 7

Saturday, May 7:   Shell 7 - Draegers 1

Shell defeated Draegers, 7-1 in the final game Saturday. Evan King and Josh Bogomilski had doubles for Draegers. Angelo Athens doubled and Michael Liebsch tripled to knock in two for Shell. Luca Espinosa threw four solid innings to earn the win for Shell.

Saturday, May 7:   Mikes Cafe 26 - Old Pro 4

Mike's Cafe bats stayed hot on Saturday led by Cole Hagerman with four hits (almost hit for the cycle). Mike's pitchers JP Gray, Cole Hagerman, and Jack Fitzsimmons all had a strong day.

Saturday, May 7:   Left Bank 8 - Goetz 3

Trevor Brinton threw four strong innings for Left Bank, and Gavin Lombardi closed the game out on the mound with the bases loaded. Andrew McLean homered, and Trey Ross had a big double. Ben Wagner, Mason Kim and Jordan Prudhomme also added big hits. For Goetz, Kailen Kerschner got the start and pitched very well, as did Ben Aguiar in relief. Brad Yaffe and Jackson Benning had big hits.

Friday, May 6:   Left Bank 11 - Old Pro 2

Bret Rodrigues threw a strong five innings and Mason Kim closed the game out for Left Bank. David Farnham homered, and Trevor Brinton was 3-4 with three doubles. For Old Pro, JC Marco, James Burke and Will Roth had big hits. Connor Mead made two great defensive plays in center field for Old Pro - one reaching above the fence and taking a home run away, and the other coming in and making a diving catch.

Wednesday, May 4:   Mikes Cafe 17 - Left Bank 6

Mike's cafe defeated Left Bank 17-6 Wednesday evening, and had a break out hitting game with 17 hits. Rio Zelaya pitched 4 strong innings for Mikes and Clay Prosser closed out the win. Max Comolli and Cole Hagerman lead the team with multiple hits.

Monday, May 2:   Goetz 7 - Mikes Cafe 5

A well played game on both sides. Rob Wilds, Brad Yaffe and Ben Aguiar pitched well for Goetz. John Gardner had a 2-out, bases loaded hit to start the rally that put Goetz ahead to stay. JP Gray and Rio Zelaya hit well for Goetz and Max Comolli had a nice double to deep center field. Jordan Salabert had a great catch in deep center to kill a Goetz rally.

Saturday, April 30:   Left Bank 9 - Old Pro 3

David Farnham threw four strong innings and Trevor Brinton closed the game out for Left Bank. Joseph Hoy, Bret Rodrigues and David Farnham each had two hits to lead the offense for Left Bank. Jordan Prudhomme also added a big hit. Carter Hughes pitched well for Old Pro.

Saturday, April 30:   Shell 13 - Goetz 3

Chris Liang threw four strong innings and Brad Yaffe had a single and a double in three at bats for Goetz. Tom Stanbach and Cole Dollinger made their pitching debuts, and Ryu Frank added four RBIs for Shell.

Saturday, April 30:   Draegers 11 - Mikes Cafe 2

The Draegers offense came alive Saturday with key hits by Evan King (grand slam), Josh Bogomilsky (3-3 including a 2 run home run), Suraj Dhawan (2-2) and James Beckwith. Patrick Duane pitched another great game allowing only 1 run over 4 innings. Stephan Sakamoto and Peter Larson closed out the 5th and 6th innings for Draegers but not before John Paul Gray hit a solo home run for Mike’s Cafe.

Friday, April 29:   Left Bank 9 - Shell 1

Andrew McLean pitched well and went 4 innings in a starting effort for Left Bank. Connor Nathan led the way offensively with a 3-3 performance and David Farnham added another home run and 3 rbi’s. Blake Henry and Angelo Athens each had two hits to pace the way for Shell.

Thursday, April 28:   Old Pro 16 - Goetz 2

Kris Liang pitched well for Goetz early and scored on an RBI single by John Gardner. Griffin Voss added another run for Goetz on a steal at home. Old Pro ace Carter Hughes led a strong pitching effort combining with Jack Retterer, Nick Cronin, Will Roth and Connor Mead limiting Goetz to 2 runs while striking out 10. Will Roth, James Burke and JC Marco led the Old Pro offense with two hits each.

Wednesday, April 27:   Shell 9 - Mikes Cafe 3

Josh Olsen, Luca Espinosa and Sam Weseloh combined to face just six hitters over the minimum. Blake Henry, Zach Weseloh and Tom Stanbach each drove in two runs for Shell. Rio Zelaya and Alec Berquist both went 2-for-2 for Mikes.

Tuesday, April 26:   Left Bank 5 - Draegers 0

Baseball was back from Spring Break Tuesday night, as Left Bank defeated Draegers 5 - 0. Connor Nathan and Bret Rodrigues combined for the shutout, while Patrick Duane pitched well for Draegers. Andrew McLean went 3-3 with two doubles, and Trey Ross made three very good defensive putouts for Left Bank.

Week 5

Thursday, April 14:   Shell 6 - Draegers 0

On Thursday, Shell defeated Draegers 6-0. Shell pitcher Angelo Athens took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, before Davos Paquin laced a clean single to right to break-up his effort. Luca Espinosa came in and retired three Draegers players to earn the save.

Wednesday, April 13:   Left Bank 8 - Mikes Cafe 3

Connor Nathan went 5 1/3 innings battling Mikes Cafe's Clay Prosser (both pitched well). Andrew McLean had a big 2-rbi double in the 5th to open the game up for Left Bank.

Tuesday, April 12:   Old Pro 10 - Goetz 3

Goetz got out to a fast start behind a big double to LF by Kris Liang. Old Pro battled back behind outstanding pitching by Carter Hughes and Will Roth. Nick Cronin went 3-3 for Old Pro, including a 2 RBI triple. JC Marco added a 2-run HR in the third. John Gardner got his first hit in majors with a line drive to RF.

Monday, April 11:   Shell 11 - Mikes Cafe 10

Shell defeated Mike's Cafe Monday night by a score of 11-10. Mike's trailed 11-6 going into the bottom of the last inning. They staged a furious comeback, but fell just short. Mike's pulled within one run and had the bases loaded, before the final batter flied out to left to end the game.

Week 4

Sunday, April 10:   Left Bank 16 - Goetz 3

Gavin Lombardi, Trevor Brinton and Andrew McLean combined on a great pitching performance. BenWagner and Jordan Prudhomme each had two big hits and David Farnham and Andrew McLean both homered. Playing a make up game, Left Bank and Goetz threw a slew of pitchers at each other in a game that showcased sportsmanship and congeniality. Andrew McLean, Trevor Brinton and Gavin Lombardi pitched for Left Bank while Goetz's crew included Rob Wilds, Sam Chazen and Jackson Benning. Left Bank sluggers McLean and David Farnham homered while Goetz's outfielders Brett Kessler and Ben Aguiar contributed diving and rolling catches to applause from both grandstands.

Sunday, April 10:   Mikes Cafe 11 - Draegers 4

Mike's and Draegers had a good game Sunday morning, Mike's scored key runs behind the hitting of Rio Zelaya who was 2-3 with two doubles.

Saturday, April 9:   Shell 13 - Old Pro 3

Angelo Athens and Tom Stanbach each had big hits with runners on base. Shell also got solid pitching from Athens getting Shell out to an early lead and never looking back.

Saturday, April 9:   Mikes Cafe 8 - Goetz 2

Mike's and Goetz had a good game Sat morning, Cole Hagerman and Dane Klug had break out days, both going 2-2 with a single and a triple. Cole Hagerman pitched a flawless 5th inning and Clay Prosser closed out the game in the 6th inning. For Goetz, Sam Chazen and Rob Wilds ripped extra base hits while Brett Kessler and Jackson Benning logged multiple hits. Kris Liang and Brad Yaffe teamed up on the mound, and Kessler and Gardner make key catches in the outfield.

Saturday, April 9:   Left Bank 4 - Draegers 3

Bret Rodrigues and David Farnham combined on a three hitter (Patrick Duane pitched outstanding for Draegers as well). Bret Rodrigues (double) and Mason Kim (single - game winning hit) had big RBI hits.

Friday, April 8:   Left Bank 9 - Old Pro 1

Connor Nathan, Gavin Lombardi and Andrew McLean combined on a great pitching performance and David Farnham and Andre McLean both homered.

Wednesday, April 6:   Old Pro 16 - Goetz 3

Goetz jumped into an early lead behind Ben Aguiar's game-opening defense in center field and Sam Chazen's and Kris Liang's first hits in the majors: a frozen rope down the third base line and huge double to deep center. But Old Pro blasted their way through the next innings and got solid pitching from Carter Hughes and held Goetz during the comeback.

Tuesday, April 5:   Mikes Cafe 5 - Draegers 3

Mikes Cafe and Draegers played a close game Tuesday night. Both starting pitchers - JP Gray for Mikes Cafe and Josh Bogomilsky for Draegers - pitched great games. Jimmy Wright delivered two key hits and had two RBI's for Mikes. Draegers came back late in the game, but Clay Prosser threw a flawless, 11 pitch 6th inning to close out the game.

Monday, April 4:   Left Bank 14 - Shell 0

The Left Bank offense was led by home runs from Connor Nathan and David Farnham, and a grand slam by Bret Rodrigues. The game also featured Trey Ross' first Majors hit.

Saturday, April 2:   Shell 10 - Goetz 3

Shell racked up a quick 6-0 lead on solid hitting, but Goetz's Ben Aguiar in relief and solid defense led by James Kirkham shut them down for three innings. Goetz's batters started connecting to claw back three runs, and Shell added more of its own for a 10-3 final.

Saturday, April 2:   Left Bank 6 - Mikes Cafe 0

Connor Nathan and David Farnham combined on a shutout as Left Bank defeated Mikes Cafe in the first game of the day on Saturday. Left Bank broke open the game inthe 4th inning behind a 2-run double by Andrew McLean and an rbi single by Jordan Prudhomme.

Friday, April 1:   Draegers 2 - Goetz 1

Kris Liang and Stefan Sakamoto treated the fans to an old fashioned pitcher's duel when Draeger's met Goetz on Friday night. Backed up by fine defense from both teams so early in the season, final score Draegers 2, Goetz 1.

Tuesday, March 29:   Left Bank 11 - Goetz 1

Connor Nathan and Brett Rodrigues pitched well and David Farnham and Andrew McLean each homered (David twice) to lead Left Bank over Goetz in their season openner Tuesday night.

Monday, March 28:   Mikes Cafe 16 - Shell 1

Mike's Cafe started off the season with solid pitching and strong offense. First hits in the Majors included doubles by AJ Berguist, Jack Moultrup and Jimmy Wright, and singles by Max Comolli and Reece Lindquist.
