Week 10

Thursday, May 27:   Dreagers 10 - Luttickens 9

In a tightly contested ballgame, Draegers scored 4 runs with 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th to win the game. Gunnar Jongebloed delivered a clutch single to tie the game and Ben Boggs' walkoff double sealed the victory. Andrew Daschbach contributed 3 hits for Draegers(including 2 doubles), Walker Steere had 2 hits(including his 2nd homer of the year), and Josh Bogomilsky had 2 hits as well. Luttickens received solid starting pitching from Panos Anagnostou. The Lutts offense was paced by Will Johnson(3 hits), Jack Posthauer (2 hits), and Andrew Arnold(2 hits). Eric Morris, Angelo Athens, and Blake Henry each had rbi hits for Luttickens.

Monday, May 24:   Goetz 10 - Draegers 9

William Sutton doubled in the go-ahead runs in the bottom of the 5th inning as Goetz Bros came back from 3 runs down to win the game Monday night. Nick O’Donnell and Sutton led Goetz with 3 hits and 2 rbi. Kyle Bryan and Charlie Roth added two hits apiece and 2 rbi. The Draegers offense was led by Andrew Daschbach who had 2 hits(including his 13th HR on the season) and 2 rbi. Evan King, Mason Randall, Patrick Duane and Stefan Sakamoto each had rbi hits for Draegers.

Week 9

Saturday, May 22:   Mikes Cafe 14 - Left Bank 2

Mike's Cafe hit the ball solidly and pitched well to overcome Left Bank 13-2. John-Paul Gray, Jack FitzSimons, Clay Prosser, Griffin Kardos, Cole Hagerman and Rio Zelaya each pitched an inning for MC, scattering 4 hits and 4 BB over the course of the game. Left Bank's best chance came in the 2nd inning when successive hits by Connor Nathan and AAA call-up Mike Liebsch scored a run and left the bases loaded with no outs. Jack FitzSimons was undaunted as he struck out the next three batters to end the threat. At the plate, Mike's Cafe got 15 hits including eight 2Bs and a HR. J-P Gray was 3 for 3 with two 2Bs, Cole Hagerman was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and Jackson Salabert was 2 for 2 with a 2B, a HR and 3 runs scored.

Saturday, May 22:   Draegers 7 - Luttickens 4

Patrick Duane was the starting pitcher for Draegers and picked up the victory with some stellar pitching. The Draegers offense was helped by Mason Randall(2b and 2 rbi), Andrew Daschbach(2hits and 2 rbi), Evan King(2 hits), and Walker Steere(2 hits). Luttickens was led by Jack Posthauer who collected 3 hits. Angelo Athens, Will Johnson, Joey Ellefritz, and Erik Morris each contributed with base hits. Angelo Athens provided solid relief pitching for Luttickens.

Thursday, May 20:   Mikes Cafe 6 - Draegers 4

Draeger's got out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st and added another run in the 3rd. In the field, Mason Randall pitched well holding the Mike's Cafe lineup scoreless through 3 innings. Going into the top of the 4th down 3-0, MC mounted a 2-out rally and tied the game on a 2-RBI 1B by Clay Prosser. MC added a run in the 5th when Rio Zelaya singled and scored on an RBI 3B by Griffin Kardos. MC added two more runs in the top of the 6th to provide some breathing room. In the bottom of the inning, Jackson Salabert yielded a HR to Andrew Daschbach but struck out the other batters he faced to end the game 6-4. For MC, Reed Fratt went 3-3 and Jack Gray pitched well yielding only 1 run in 4 2/3 innings.

Monday, May 17:   Mikes Cafe 4 - Goetz Bros 0

Reed Fratt threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout leading Mike's Cafe to a 4-0 win against Goetz Bros. Ilya Mednick broke up the no-hitter for Goetz in the top of the 3rd with a line drive 1B to center but was stranded at 2nd to end the inning. The Mike's Cafe defense was flawless recording 14 put-outs in the field with no errors including a game ending 1-6-3 double play. At the plate for Mike's Cafe: Zach Novak went 2 for 2 including an RBI 1B in the 2nd inning; Fratt had an RBI 3B in the 3rd; in the 4th, Clay Prosser hit a ground rule 2B (scoring on an RBI by Rio Zelaya) and Novak had a 1B and scored on an RBI 2B by John-Paul Gray. Kailen Kerschner pitched well going the distance for Goetz.

Week 8

Saturday, May 15:   Goetz Bros 7 - Left Bank 5

Goetz scored three times in the top of the 6th to overcome a 5-4 deficit and beat Left Bank early Saturday morning. Kailen Kershner led the Goetz offense with his first home run of the season in the 5th inning, followed by an rbi double to complete the Goetz comeback in the 6th.

Saturday, May 15:   Draegers 14 - Old Pro 1

Andrew Daschbach pitched a complete game and helped his own cause with 3 hits including a grand slam(11th HR on the year) and 5 rbi. Evan King added 2 hits, and Walker Steere, Ben Boggs, and Gunnar Jongebloed each had rbi base hits. Old Pro was led by Nick Ralston’s 2 hits including an rbi double, and base hits by AJ Lemons, Mike Fekete, Christian Huhn, Nick Cronin, and Connor Mead.

Saturday, May 15:   Mikes Cafe 7 - Luttickens 1

Jackson Salabert pitched a complete game for Mike's Cafe limitting Lutticken's to 5 hits and 2 BB while recording 11 strikeouts. Mike's Cafe got on the board in the 2nd inning with hits by Rio Zelaya and Zach Novak followed by a big 2-RBI 2B by John-Paul Gray. Gray later scored on an RBI 1B by Jack FitzSimons. Novak finished the day with 2 hits and Reed Fratt and Holden Kardos both scored twice to complete the scoring for MC. Lutticken's got on the board in the 5th with a 1B by Erik Morris and an RBI 1B by Blake Henry who finished the day 2 for 2. Ian Rosenfeld got the biggest hit of the night for Lutticken's with a ground rule double to right center in the bottom of the 6th.

Friday, May 14:   Draegers 4 - Luttickens 2

In another pitchers duel, Draegers came out on top 4-2. Mason Randall pitched 4 1/3 innings and Patrick Duane provided 1 2/3 innings of solid relief. Joey Ellefritz pitched well for Luttickens and received good relief pitching from Panos Anognousto and Will Johnson. Mason Randall and Andrew Daschbach led the Draegers offense with 2 hits apiece including back to back doubles in the 6th inning which provided the go ahead run. Walker Steere and Evan King delivered key RBI hits including King’s two out double in the 6th. Luttickens trailed 2-0 in the 5th before timely base hits by Will Johnson, Jack Posthaeur, and Eric Morris tied the game. Andrew Arnold made several good defensive plays for Luttckens including nailing a Draegers runner at home on a perfect throw. The game ended when Andrew Daschbach took a base hit away from Will Johnson on a diving stop up the middle and tagged second from his stomach.

Wednesday, May 12:   Luttickens 15 - Goetz 7

Luttickens jumped out to a six run lead in the first inning as the first five batters scored but Goetz fought back in the bottom of the first to make it a close game with four runs of their own as they batted around the order. Luttickens chipped away the rest of the game scoring runs in every inning of the game. Angelo Athens pitched the victory for Luttickens with Jack Posthauer going 4-4 and Blake Henry getting on base all four times and clearing the bases in the sixth with a timely double. Kyle Bryan and William Sutton each had two hits for Goetz Brothers while Kailen Kershner scored twice.

Tuesday, May 11:   Old Pro 7 - Left Bank 5

Old Pro jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings and held on to win 7-5 Tuesday night behind solid defense. Tyler Koo and Mike Fekete each had 2 hits for Old Pro, and Arnaud Laprais added a 2-rbi double in the second. Lane Leschly had 3 hits and Bret Rodrigues smashed a 2-rbi double to the center field fence to cap a 5-run 5th inning for Left Bank. AJ Lemons struck out 4 in the final 1 2/3 innings to get the save for Old Pro.

Monday, May 10:   Mikes Cafe 7 - Goetz 3

John-Paul Gray picked up the win for Mike's Cafe allowing 2 hits and 1 run over the first 3 innings. Zach Novak and Reed Fratt went the rest of the way holding the Goetz offense to 2 runs over the final 3. Quinn Rowland led the Goetz offense with two doubles. Reed Fratt went 3 for 3 and Jackson Salbert and Jack Gray both went deep for Mike's Cafe.

Week 7

Saturday, May 8:   Left Bank 7 - Luttickens 6

Left Bank came back from an early deficit, scoring two runs in the bottom of the 6th to take the second game of the Left Bank-Luttickens double header Saturday afternoon. The game was a make-up for an earlier rain-out. Connor Nathan pitched well for Left Bank and had two hits, including a double to lead off the bottom of the 6th. Ben Wagner also had 2 hits and 2 rbi's for Left Bank. Will Johnson pitched well for Luttickens, keeping the LeftBank hitters off balance and striking out 7 in 3 1/3 innings. Bret Rodrigues pitched 3 strong relief innings and picked up the win for Left Bank.

Saturday, May 8:   Luttickens 11 - Left Bank 3

Angelo Athens powered Luttickens to victory in the first game of a Saturday double header, going 3-for-3, including two home run blasts over the left field fence. Joey Ellefritz pitched 4+ strong innings for Luttickens, striking out 8. Josh Olsen came in to finish the final two frames, allowing only 1 run. Both Ellefritz and Panos Anagnastou also added 3 hits each for the Luttickens attack. Jordan Prudhomme and Matt Marianacci both had rbi hits and clutch outfield catches for Left Bank.

Saturday, May 8:   Mikes Cafe 10 - Old Pro 2

Jack Gray and Jackson Salbert teamed for a Mike's Cafe win behind a particularly strong, error free defense. Jack Gray helped his own effort with a lead-off HR in the 1st. Reed Fratt, Holden Kardos and Zach Novak each went 2 for 3 for Mike's Cafe. Arnaud Laprais had 2 hits for Old Pro and Nick Cronin had the biggest hit of the morning for OP with a 2B to right field.

Saturday, May 8:   Goetz 3 - Draegers 2

Nick O’Donnel pitched a complete game for the victory and helped himself with an rbi base hit in the first inning. Kyle Bryan had two solid hits for Goetz Brothers and played a stellar game at short stop. Quinn Rowland, Will Sutton and Brad Yaffe also had big hits for Goetz. Andrew Daschbach pitched 5 strong innings for Draegers and helped his own cause with a 2-run homer(10th of the season). Mason Randall, Pete Diller and Gunnar Jongebloed also had hits for Draegers in the loss.

Friday, May 7:   Luttickens 4 - Draegers 3

Angelo Athens(4 innings) and Mason Randall(6 innings) had a great pitcher’s duel that took the game to extra innings. Joey Ellefritz and Will Johnson relieved Athens with three strong innings of relief. Johnson and Ellefritz also provided timely hitting as well. Andrew Daschbach and Patrick Duane contributed 2 hits a piece for Draegers and Randall helped himself with a double.

Thursday, May 6:   Left Bank 13 - Mikes Cafe 12

Left Bank overcame deficits of 2-0, 8-2, 11-10, and 12-11 to pull out the victory in 7 innings Thursday night. The game (which included 5 lead changes) featured timely hitting up and down each lineup. Tied 8-8 after 4, Mikes took a 9-8 lead in the top of the 5th on a clutch, two-out single by Clay Prosser. Left Bank answered back with 2 in the bottom of the 5th on hits by Griffin Gelbach, Matt Marianacci and Lane Leschly. Mikes then put 2 across in the 6th from hits by Jackson Salabert, Zach Novak and Johnny Hamren to take an 11-10 lead. Stephen Kaufman's rbi triple in the bottom of the 6th tied it back up, and the game went to extras. Mikes took another lead in the top of the 7th on hits by Jack Gray and Reed Fratt. Griffin Gelbach's 3rd hit of the night got Left Bank started in their half of the 7th, setting the stage for Lane Leschly who came to the plate with two on and two out. Leschly delivered a solid, two-run single to left to give the victory to Left Bank.

Tuesday, May 4:   Left Bank 11 - Draegers 5

Maxton Mauney gave up one run in 3+ innings and added two hits to lead Left Bank Tuesday night. Ben Wagner also had 2 hits and 3 RBIs as Left Bank jumped out to an early 11 - 0 lead. Patrick Duane pitched well in relief for Draegers, allowing just 2 runs over 4 innings and striking out 4.

Week 6

Saturday, May 1:   Mikes Cafe 14 - Left Bank 6

The top of the order was dominant for Mike's Cafe going a combined 11 for 14 and scoring 12 runs between them. Cole Hagerman scored 3 runs; Holden Kardos was 4 for 4 with a HR and 4 runs scored; Reed Fratt was 4 for 4 with 5 RBIs; and, Jack Gray was 3 for 4. Left Bank mounted a 5-run 2-out rally in the 3rd inning capped by a 2 run single by Ben Wagner. They loaded the bases again in the 5th but a fine defensive play by Zach Novak with 1 out ended the threat when he fielded a grounder at 3rd, stepped on the bag and completed the double play by throwing out the runner at home. Lane Leschly was 2 of 3 for Left Bank.

Saturday, May 1:   Old Pro 8 - Luttickens 1

AJ Lemons pitched a gem going 5-2/3 innings for Old Pro. Arnaud Laprais led the Old Pro offense going 3-3, including a HR to center. JC Marco also homered. Jack Retterer and AJ added triples to supplement the offense. Andrew Arnold led Lutticken's offense getting on base three times, including two line drives to the outfield. Tom Stanbach added another big hit and later scored for Lutticken's. Jack Posthauer pitched a strong inning of relief striking out 2 Old Pro batters.

Saturday, May 1:   Draegers 13 - Goetz 4

Evan King picked up a win with 3 strong innings pitched and was relieved admirably by Patrick Duane and Josh Bogilmilsky. The Draegers bats were hot with Mason Randall(3 dbls), Ben Boggs(3 hits), Andrew Daschach(3 hits including his 9th home run of the season), Evan King (2 hits), Patrick Duane(2 hits), and Pete Diller, Peter Larsen. Walker Steere, and Max Chapman with one hit a piece. Kyle Bryan pitched well for Goetz and helped his own cause with 2 hits. Nick O'Donnell, Charlie Roth and Kobe Carr also contributed for Goetz with two hits each and strong defense up the middle.

Friday, April 30:   Draegers 4 - Left Bank 0

Draegers triumphed in a tightly contested ballgame that featured terrific pitching and defense by both teams. The score was tied 0-0 in the 6th inning when Draegers scored 4 runs on consecutive two out rbi hits by Stefan Sakamoto, Max Chapman, Mason Randall and Andrew Daschbach. Randall pitched a complete game two hitter which included a web gem by Patrick Duane to preserve the shutout. Connor Nathan pitched beautifully for Left Bank and Stephen Kaufman broke up Randall's no hitter in the 5th with a solid single. David Farnham, Bret Rodrigues, and Maxton Mauney had fine defensive plays to keep Draegers off the board through 5 innings.

Wednesday, April 28:   Draegers 5 - Old Pro 1

Andrew Daschbach hit 2 home runs for the third game in a row as he led Draegers to their 4th straight win. Dash also pitched 6 strong innings of 2 hit ball for the win. Harrison Toig pitched a strong game for Old Pro. Harrison and AJ lemmons eached doubled to lead Old Pro's offense.

Tuesday, April 27:   Left Bank 6 - Goetz 0

Maxton Mauney and Lane Leschly combined on a shutout, and Leschly added a two-run homer in the first innning to lead Left Bank.

Monday, April 26:   Mikes Cafe 7 - Luttickens 1

Reed Fratt powered the Mike's Cafe offense with a solo HR in the 1st and a 3 run HR in the 6th. Fratt was also strong off the mound holding the Lutticken's offense to an infield hit through 5 innings. Amelia Tiemann led off the 6th inning for Lutticken's with a single to left field and broke up the shutout when she scored on an RBI single by Angelo Athens. Clay Prosser was 2 for 2 for Mike's Cafe.

Week 5

Saturday, April 24:   Draegers 6 - Mikes Cafe 4

In a thrilling extra inning game, Draegers recorded a victory in 7 innings. Mason Randall and Evan King pitched well for Draegers holding a powerful Mike’s team to 4 runs. Draegers was led by Andrew Daschbach with 3 hits including 2 home runs, a two run go ahead Home Run in the 7th inning. Walker Steere and Peter Larson delivered clutch base hits with 2 outs in the come from behind rally. Mike’s Café received stellar pitching from Reed Fratt, Jack Gray, and Zach Novak. For Mikes Cafe, Reed Fratt hit a towering home run over the left field fence and Clay Prosser and Jack Gray each delivered clutch two out singles.

Friday, April 23:   Draegers 6 - Left Bank 3

In a tightly contested game Draegers came out on top 6-3. Andrew Daschbach pitched 5 and 2/3 innings for Draegers and hit two home runs. Gunnar Youngebloed and Josh Bogomilsky each had triples and Evan King picked up his first save. Connor Nathan pitched a very good game for Left Bank. Maxton Mauney, Connor Nathan, and David Farnham delivered key hits for Left Bank.

Thursday, April 22:   Mikes Cafe 10 - Goetz 6

Goetz Bros. jumped to an early 2 run lead in the 1st but could not outpace the Mike's Cafe offense the rest of the way. Quinn Rowland was 2 for 3 with 2 runs and Kobe Carr also scored twice for Goetz. John-Paul Gray was sharp in relief for MC holding Goetz to 2 hits and 1 run with 3 strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings. At the plate for MC: Jack Gray was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored; Reed Fratt hit his 4th HR of the season; and, Holden Kardos was 3 for 4 including a 3 run HR that was nullified after a mix-up at the plate. Don't forget to touch home plate in the right order boys!

Wednesday, April 21:   Luttickens 5 - Left Bank 2

Luttickens edged Left Bank in a closely fought game 5-2 that was decided in the fifth inning. Luttickens took an early lead on a home run blast by Blake Henry, and loaded the bases in each of the first four innings but great defense by Left Bank kept the game close (2-0) entering the fifth. Left Bank tied the game in the top of the fifth on hits by Griffin Gelbach and Andrew McLean. In the bottom of the fifth, Lutticken's scored the winning runs on back to back singles by Panos Anagnastau and Andrew Arnold. Joey Ellefritz pitched an amazing game for Lutticken's going five and two thirds inning, striking out twelve and walking none.

Tuesday, April 20:   Old Pro 4 - Mikes Cafe 1

Harrison Toig and Arnaud Laprais pitched a gem for Old Pro. They limited the big bats from Mike's to four hits while striking out 11. Jackson Salabert pitched four great innings for Mike's limiting Old Pro to just one run. Nick Cronin had a timely hit for Old Pro and scored his first run of the season. Griffin Kardos and Reed Fratt paced Mike's with two hits each.

Monday, April 19:   Draegers 6 - Goetz 0

Mason Randall led Draegers to a victory over Goetz Bros with stellar pitching and clutch hitting. Mason threw a 2-hit complete game shut out, while also contributing 3 hits. Other offense was provided by Walker Steere's first home run of the year to deep left and clutch hits by Stefan Sakamoto and Max Chapman. Brad Yaffe turned in a solid pitching performance for Goetz.

Week 4

Saturday, April 17:   Goetz 2 - Left Bank 1

Nick O'Donnell pitched a complete game, 3-hitter as Goetz defeated Left Bank 2-1 in the final game Saturday. The game featured great defense and pitching by both sides. Kyle Brian had two of Goetz four hits and an RBI to lead Goetz. Left Bank got great pitching from Andrew McLean, David Farnham and Bret Rodrigues. O'Donnell had a no-hitter going into the final inning. Hits by McLean, Trevor Brinton and Connor Nathan got Left Bank on the board, but O'Donnell was able to get the final out with the bases loaded.

Saturday, April 17:   Mikes Cafe 3 - Luttickens 2

Pitching was excellent for both teams with Will Johnson recording 9 strikeouts for Lutticken's and three Mike's Cafe pitchers teaming for 12. With the score knotted at 2-all in the bottom of the 6th, Reed Fratt hit a solo, walk-off homerun to end the game.

Saturday, April 17:   Old Pro 8 - Draegers 4

AJ Lemons and Andrew Dashbach dueled for the first 3 innings in a 3-3 tie. In the bottom of the 4th, Old Pro added three more runs. Arnaud Laprias, JC Marco and Harrison Toig led the Old Pro offense with 2 hits each. Max Chapman had a solid line drive to right in the 3rd inning, Peter Diller scored twice for Draegers offense.

Friday, April 16:   Mikes Cafe 10 - Left Bank 2

Mike's Cafe defeated Left Bank Friday night behind 2-run homers by Jackson Salabert and Reed Fratt. Cole Hagerman also added two doubles for Mikes, and Holden Kardos had two singles.

Thursday, April 14:   Luttickens 3 - Old Pro 2

Luttickens edged Old Pro in a well played game 3-2 that was decided by a Joey Ellefritz walk off solo home run in the sixth inning. Old Pro got off to a fast start with two runs in the top of the first inning which were matched by two runs by Luttickens in the bottom of the first. Luttickens had four consecutive hits including sharp doubles by Will Johnson and Jack Posthauer. From that point on Harrison Toig and Joey Ellefritz engaged in a scoreless pitching duel. Toig gave up only one hit and struck out eight over nearly five complete innings of superb pitching. Ellefritz handed the ball to Panos Anagnostou in the Fifth Inning who shut down Old Pro and earned the win for Luttickens.

Wednesday, April 14:   Mikes Cafe 10 - Draegers 3

Mike's Cafe used 4 pitchers to record 10 strikeouts and scatter 4 hits in holding Draeger's to 3 runs. Cole Hagerman and Reed Fratt paced the MC offense - each going 2 for 3 and scoring 2 runs. Jack Gray had 4 RBIs and Holden Kardos scored 3 times with 3 RBIs. Walker Steere had the biggest hit of the night for Draeger's with a powerful RBI double in the 1st that scored Andrew Daschbach.

Tuesday, April 13:   Old Pro 10 - Goetz 5

Arnaud Laprais and Tyler Koo allowed just two runs over 5 innings of strong pitching. Jack Retterer and Ben Simon led the Old Pro offense with two hits each. Kailen Kershner pitched three great innings holding the Old Pro offense to just one run. Nick O'Donnell scored twice and hit a screaming line drive to lead the Goetz offense.

Saturday, April 10:   Mikes Cafe 8 - Goetz 0

(Makeup of March 27 game) Mike's Cafe hitters were held in check until the 3rd inning when 5 consecutive singles sparked a 3-run, two out rally. MC added another run in the 5th and 4 more in the 6th to complete the scoring. Cole Hagerman was 2 for 3, Holden Kardos went 2 for 4 (w/ 4 RBIs) and Johnny Hamren scored 3 runs for Mike's Cafe. Jack Gray, Reed Fratt and Hagerman teamed for the shutout holding Goetz to 4 hits. William Sutton led the Goetz offense with 2 hits.

Week 2

Wednesday, March 24:   Mikes Cafe 5 - Luttickens 2

Jackson Salabert recorded 6 strikeouts in 3 innings to lead the pitching for Mike's Cafe and also went 2-2 at the plate. Reed Fratt did most of the damage for MC when he cracked a grand slam with 2 outs in the 4th. With the score at 5-2 in the bottom of the 6th, Lutticken's mounted a threat with 2 on and 2 out. A hard hit flyball to center field looked like it had a chance but was caught by Rio Zelaya to end the game.

Tuesday, March 23:   Draegers 18 - Left Bank 3

Draegers used solid defense and strong hitting up and down the lineup to dominate Left Bank Thursday night. Patrick Duane had 4 hits for Draegers and Max Chapman and Peter Larson got their first Majors hits. Andrew Daschbach pitched 4 strong innings and had 4 hits, including his 2nd home run of the season. Lane Leschly provided Left Bank's only bright spot with his first home run of the season - a 2-run blast in the first inning.

Tuesday, March 23:   Old Pro 19 - Draegers 5

Old Pro displayed a dominant offensive and defensive performance in a convincing victory over Draegers. OP received great pitching from AJ Lemons, Arnaud Laprais, and Ben Simon. Harrison Toig and Tyler Koo each collected multiple hits for OP. Patrick Duane had his first major league hit for Draegers and pitched well in relief. Josh Bogomilsky also pitched quite well in relief. Andrew Daschbach had 2 hits for Draegers including a towering Home Run over the center field fence.

Monday, March 22:   Left Bank 7 - Luttickens 6

Maxton Mauney hit a two-out, walk-off rbi single in the bottom of the 6th to give Left Bank its second straight final-at-bat victory Monday night. The game featured several lead changes and clutch hitting by both sides. Joey Ellefritz led Luttickens with 2 hits and struck out 4 over two shutout innings. Angelo Athens also had two hits for Luttickens and Erik Morris added a clutch 2-out, 2 rbi single. Left Bank scoring was led by David Farnham who hit a 2-out grand slam over the center field fence that put Left Bank ahead in the bottom of the third. Connor Nathan pitched 4 strong innings for Left Bank and his lead off single in the bottom of the 6th helped set up Mauney's game winner.

Week 1

Saturday, March 20:   Left Bank 5 - Goetz 3

Lane Leschly's 2-run triple in the top of the 6th capped a 4 run rally that led Left Bank past Goetz in the Saturday finale. For Goetz, Nick O'Donnell's 5 strong innings (allowing only 1 run and striking out 9) and rbi doubles by Kyle Bryan and Kailen Kerschner helped Goetz jump out to an early 3-0 lead. Left Bank's David Farnham's second double of the game cut the lead to 3-1 - the score entering into the final frame. A key, two-out rbi single by Left Bank rookie Matt Marianacci got the Left Bank scoring started in the 6th, and kept the inning alive for Leschly's big hit. Bret Rodrgiues then struck out 2 in a scorelss last half of the 6th to get the save for Left Bank.

Saturday, March 20:   Old Pro 5 - Luttickens 4

Nick Ralston had a timely hit to center in the 5th inning, driving in 2 runs. Lutticken's had a strong pitching performance behind the arms of Will Johnson, Joey Ellefritz and Jack Posthauer, combining to strike out 8. AJ Lemons and Harrison Toig pitched well for Old Pro, striking out 12 between them. AJ and Harrison both went 2-2 at the plate to lead the Old Pro offense.

Saturday, March 20:   Mikes Cafe 3 - Draegers 2

In the first game of the 2010 season, a rematch of last season's Championship game, Jackson Salabert and Reed Fratt threw for a combined one-hitter on 13 strikeouts as they led Mike's Cafe to a 3-2 win over Draeger's. Mike's Cafe was able to score 3 times on 4 hits with Fratt going 2-2. Draeger's came to the plate in the top of the sixth down 3-0 when things got exciting. With 2 on and 2 out, Peter Diller hit a double to right field which broke up the no-hitter and the shutout as both runners scored on the play. On the very next pitch, a long fly to left field looked to be the game-tieing RBI but Johnny Hamren made a nice catch ending the threat and sealing the victory for Mike's Cafe.
